Wow...there's a spooky Omaha connection going on here... I lived in Omaha when I was 12 (see thread Thinking Ahead), and so did A Rope Leash... has anyone else on the board been to Omaha?? I like the fact that people from the Cornhusker state hate people from Iowa (Idiots About Wandering Around anyo...

Calendar Girls

Don't expect some old bolliks like The Full Monty, expect a real drama with more than a touch of humour, and some surprisingly good dire...

After Scotland's dismal defeat to the not-so-might Deutschland, I've retreated to Championship Manager on the PC...it's safer there. Looking forward to the Champs Lge this year, the visits of Bayern, Man U and Olympique Lyonnais to Mother Glasgow is an exciting prospect....am off to the Rangers game...

Yeah I thought it might be a pub...so maybe it's some kind of unrest between pro/anti war demonstrators? Great great song though...have you he...

Immaterial girl....that's what I've heard, but I don't believe it's a madonna reference, it's really out of place in this song. I think it means that the guy is with some local floozy (like his sister) and she's really irrelevant to him ("just some mother's daughter") and the fact she's we...

I don't really know much about Run DMC except the Aerosmith thing and It's Like That... but, I did buy the dvd of Red Dragon a couple of months back, and in the extras, Run plays the attendant who discovers the Tooth Fairy's notes hidden in Lecters cell...but they cut the majority of it from the act...

Are they worth picking up??

Which are the EC bootlegs to get/avoid, I've avoided them before but have found somewhere flogging them cheap.

Years ago I saw Eric Clapton walking down the sidestreets of London with a small oriental lady, and on the same day I saw Christopher Lee shopping in Liberty's of London! When you go to London, you always see someone famous... I even saw the legendary timelord Tom Baker once there (the man is a god)...

I don't understand the Virgin megastore thing... will it be shown in every shop? Do they really expect people to go in and stand around in a Virgin megastore amidst mingling shoppers and watch a concert????

Will EC be on Letterman in the UK on the same day? Whats the delay in showing it on Sky?
