I hate those cases too... but if I get a good album and it's in a knackered case, I swap it with the cases from the free cds you get on magazines or CD-ROM cases if they're in good condition. I always try to examine the case though... I think I'm getting obsessive (at least thats what the little dev...

Great song, with a composition that shows how much EC was influenced by Nick Lowe. Lyrics are great, all men can relate to them. But...heresy...the Dave Edmunds version is the best version.

I posted a while back to see if anyone knew if this US band called 'The Mountain Goats' are any good. Noone knew. Now I know...they are so great. There lyrically really cutting and funny, and most of the songs on the album I bought (only one on release in uk) Tallahassee are really great acoustic nu...

EC on Steve Wright/Sarah Ferguson show transcribed

Here is the transcribed interview (yes I had nothing to do today) of EC on the Steve Wright show today, for all you guys who didn't hear The Man on this irritating radio show. EC = Elvis Costello. SW = Steve Wright, presenter SF = Sarah Ferguson, a woman who was once married to some member of the E...

Something about the moody doomed love of the Fish-Finger King

Noone got an inkling what he's on about then?

I'll just assume he's talking about the self-destructive oedipal love affairs that plagued Captain Birdseye as a courting youth!

Has anyone ever watched the Rugby League coverage on Sky? The so-called pro referees should have mics on them like those refs... it's refreshing (not to mention enjoyable) hearing them in the game. What surprises me most about them, is that in a very physical game like Rugby, they are able to use th...
