Yes, Buddy Miller is a big fan of theirs too. Johnnie Wright is married to Kitty Wells and they live here in Nashville. And Jack Anglin died in a car accident on his way to Patsy Cline's funeral.

You'd dig 'em, El Vez.

I feel like all these people that are bragging about losing weight now are going to have serious kidney problems down the line. My mother started writing down everything she ate, and lost 8 pounds in a couple of months. And it's not like she's overweight, either; she's probably a size 6. I started ...

I've never heard of it, El Vez. Is it a Tennessee station? Is it online? I'm always looking for cool stuff to listen to...I listen to a lot of AM radio these days. If you like oldies, on a good night you can pick up 1530AM out of Cincinnati (can't remember the call letters). Also a great old school ...

Fans of classic country, check this out.....

One of the best radio shows I've ever heard happens right here in Nashville every Saturday from 6 am to 10 am (central time). It's the Eddie Stubbs Classic Country Show. I believe you can listen online at http://www.wsmonline.com. Floyd Cramer, Bill Monroe, Buck Owens, Johnnie and Jack, Hank William...

Same deal with Alejandro Escovedo, who is battling hepatitis C (I think that's the right one). No insurance and huge medical bills. It's very sad.

I think Tony Thompson was also in the Power Station with the recently-deceased Robert Palmer. That would leave only the two Duran Duran guys left from that band.

Brooks and Dunn were not very good at the memorial. They were boring! I was not impressed at all, but then again, they were there because they were friends with Johnny.

Yes, BC.....the lineup was kind of a touchy subject. It was picked by the family members. And they did extend invitations to Bono, Springsteen, and Dylan. The performers who were there all had relationships with Johnny (except maybe Kid Rock). Mellencamp inducted JC into the Rock Hall of Fame, for e...

Bartok's String Quartets by the Emerson String Quartet are wonderful.
Early Horowitz piano sonatas are great.
I dig pretty much anything Bernstein did.
And for guitar mastery, pick up some early Andres Segovia.
