The Stockholm show was great too. I liked the music better, but Oslo was more fun because the audience caught on much quicker. He played Adam Raised A Cain and Long Black Veil (fantastic) as I'd hoped (but wasn't expecting). Highlight for me was an awesome version of Open All Night, he played that i...

Finally got a copy of this as well and I really like it so far. I can't tell how much I'll like it in the end since so far my feelings towards everything post-B&C keeps going back and forth (except perhaps The Delivery Man which is solid gold).

Chrille: You hit it out of the park with that grouping. Wow. Anyone who can get Muddy Waters, Joni, XTC, AND the Mahavishnu Orchestra in one outting is borderline heroic. Not to mention the Leonard Cohen. As in, "that's alot of good music to digest at one time" or "that's an unusual ...

Just came back from seeing Springsteen in Oslo. What an incredible show! :D I was blown away. This was my first time seeing him live. I have said that I wish it'd been with the E-Street Band. Now I know I mean that, because I seriously doubt they'll ever top the fun I had this time. The Seeger Sessi...

Hehe, don't worry. I take one album at a time. But it's nice to have a pile to select from when you want something new to listen to.

I'm collecting many "classics" at this point and discovering alot of new artists that I like. Prince being the most "extreme" step away from what I usually listen to. Previously I mostly listened to mostly one artist at a time, getting several records by that one artist before ge...

I got ReadyToHearTheWorst (;)) CDs yesterday. I wasn't expecting two, so it was a nice surprise. I'm currently at the end of the second CD. First listen to both. I really like these CD Circles. It's like a radio station of music I've mostly not heard but that I still really like. Nice to hear some T...

Just came back from the N.C-show. Lots of fun. No 'The Needle Has Landed' though, one of my faves from Fox Confessor...

She sold cds and clothes after the show herself. Got an autographed copy of an EP, Canadian Amp, that's only sold during tours according to her.

Though Graceland is one of my alltime favourite songs I've never been that big a fan of Paul Simon. But the mention of Eno and general praise made me pick up his new album on my way home from work. I'm enjoying it so far, but god that's a shit album cover!

The MP3 Game

Perhaps this has come by here before because I remember it vaguely. But I couldn't find anything on it at least. Anyway, a friend just introduced me to this so let's play this silly little game with MP3s! First of all, load your entire MP3 archive in your favourite mp3-player. Activate the shuffle-f...

Prince - Lady Cab Driver

I love the song, but the moaning is so much in the way! I live on the top floor of a three-floor building, families with young children being the other residents. It's too hot in here to not open the window and the song is too good to not crank up the volume!

Roxy Music - Psalm

I'm not a religious person, nor do I know if Ferry is serious here, but this is such an incredibly wonderful, powerful song.

I ran into an old classmate from high school today. I havn't met anyone from school since I graduated at least five years ago, well, aside from the few people I still hang out with. We agreed to meet this weekend. Too much to do, had to work late. Just as we were about to head home a filmcrew arrive...

I'm having difficulties with this one. I love Hounds of Love. But so far I don't think I will grow to love this one. I like it, but it doesn't feel special.

I think I can answer for King Hoarse. He won't be back till next week. If he doesn't want in, I guess someone else can take his place later or I can trade with more than one ;)

I'm listening to it right now. I'm going to see her live on the 13th this month. I've not heard anything else by her besides her work with the New Pornographers, but it's going to be very interesting anyway.

Prince - D M S R

I've not heard that much Prince, I own Purple Rain and Around The World... on CD and recently got used vinyl copies of Sign... & 1999. Listening to 1999 as is rather obvious. This track is so awesome :D
