I've just gotten my Japanese copy and a few of the errors in the printed lyrics are pretty laughable. I first noticed it with "Almost Ideal Eyes." It doesn't matter much, because of course most of these lyrics have appeared with other CDs in the past, but I'm very much amused by lines like...

I was at that concert, and I remember wondering why it was being filmed. They implied it was for the Today Show, but when the footage wasn't shown there, I began to wonder if it would ever surface! This is appears to be a local NYC channel (?), and I won't be in the city when the show is broadcast, ...

My Funny Valentine is a good example, because as a rule I think Elvis is best when he interprets more intimate material. Withered & Died is a big favorite, perhaps as good as the original. I really like his version of The Parting Glass on the night of Derek Bell's death. Love That Burns is real...

Was that story about a woman really saying to him "What is your destiny?" And did it have something to do with him being in an airport, or did I imagine that?

Either way, I love the song too.

I wonder what inspired this song? Well apparently Elvis doesn't believe in abortion, so a strong belief like that could definitely inspire him to write about it...if that's even what it is about, which I thought it was. I didn't really see any evidence of her being beaten. I wanted to ask, what is ...

Do you think the pre-orders (101cd.com) would still be valid? I was wondering because this particular company (Demon?) seems to be promoting it heavily... and because of the changes that have been made to the DVD, including changing the Region of the disk?

I hate to be the one to perpetuate an odd discussion, but... He's a well known "flat footed" person so I imagine whenever he can find a pair of comfortable shoes he sticks with them. Is he well-known for being flatfooted, or did you mean he's just a well-known person who happens to have fl...

I've been watching it in bits and pieces but one thing I can say for sure about the "On the Road" documentary (at least the part I've seen so far): I'm just eating it up. I love seeing this more human side of the band, like Elvis and Pete laughing at road signs, etc. The little music histo...
