Re: Janice Long show 05 November 2010

Thanks for this John Playing was great and EC in good form. Janice obviously a fan. Little actually new - apart from the possibility that Spectacle 2 may eventually show this side of the pond. In fact it was a shame he didn't get more time as he was going off script at the end reminiscing about the ...

MP3s of the early show: http://www.sendspace.com/file/gpd6gs Sorry - I don't know the original source. But, the quality is great. Cheers for this notice In view of other dire warnings on this site I'm wary of Mediafire these days, but no apparent harm has come to my computer downloading these files...

a great album -I don't think so, not by a long chalk ! In fact i think the 4 cuts on National Ransack are superior to a number of tracks on NR Still listening generously, so haven't yet decided where to put it on my personal league table. Re: National Ransom - New Album Due Nov. 2

Has anyone actually received the LP version yet? Elvis keeps saying that it's really a double album ( as we used to call them in our youth) so where do the sides start and end? I'll take a wild guess that Ransom is side 1, track 1 and Voice is side 4 final track, but what about the rest? I'm thinkin...

Re: FYI Canada Order just shipped

Cheers John Hopefully I won't need this documentation. This recording is spending longer being shipped than it did in the studio! On stage, at the Phil in June, Elvis said it was "on the boat", which I mistakenly took to be a joke. Are these the same culprits who let down Sulky et al over ...

UK tour 2010/11

" ....the tour hasn't been announced yet, but there'll be some dates, definitely"

These were Elvis's last words on the Mayo show yesterday.

The anticipation builds.

Start saving Mr Foyle, I hope you've been consulted about your availability to attend.

the Jonathan Ross style of "You think you're 'it', don't you? Well I'm going to make you look like an idiot". A contrary view on Mr Ross. The case for the defence: Thought he was always good value on the radio. No time for the cosy chats with comedy chums ( David Walliams / Ricky Gervais ...

Hawksmoor Completely agree. EC aside this was probabaly the worst "Later" i've ever seen! I think I preferred Mr Diamond in ridiculous-furry-red-outfit mode as shown in the cosy chat section. 'Fraid I didn't like Macca either, shamelessly mining the back catalogue for more riches. And Alic...

There is probably a much better way, but having downloaded FLAC files via Dime/Utorrent, I use Flacfrontend : http://members.home.nl/w.speek/flac.htm to convert them to WAV files, and then Nero ( Smart Start? - it's an old free version anyway) to rip them to CD. All the above seems easy to this non ...
