I like the starkness and simplicity of the North cover...seems like it is reflective of this change of direction. As I mentioned in an earlier thread it is also very similar to a photo in the gallery section of Diana Krall's Web site - http://www.dianakrall.com - The two share a common look with the...

There's a photo of Diana Krall (in the gallery section of her website: http://www.dianakrall.com ) that is very similar in look and style to the cover of North. Perhaps they're shooting these locations photos together...)

I agree with everything positive said about PFM. It's been one of my favorites and most played CDs since I bought it when it first came out. I find it to be soothing. In my office I'm usually met with groans when I declare a day an EC only one, and I take over the CD changer. But when PFM comes on e...

In the past 2 days I listened to the complete CD 4 or 5 times, and I just love all of it. Each song is so different but I can really imagine EC singing (even those he never recorded himself). My favorites are by those artists who are unfamiliar to me. (Johnny Cash sounds like Johnny Cash.) But Tasmi...

Thoughts on "Bespoke Songs, Lost Dogs, Detours & Re

I recently bought a copy of Bespoke Songs, Lost Dogs, Detours & Rendevous and while I haven't made it all of the way through (I skip around to hear certain songs), I really like what I've heard so far. Has there been any discussion/prior postings regarding this particular collection of EC songs?...

Interesting article. I wonder if he conducted this interview before, after, or between sets in Providence...the mix of songs in the 2 shows was very different with the second show (which I went to and was just incredibly great) being entirely old favorites.

Way to go LTZ,
I got such a laugh picturing you climbing over the seat backs. It's such a great idea. Don't know why I've never tried it. :D

AARRGG...I just checked the pre-sale and there are still tickets available for the 6th row center. This doesn't happen in Boston. I've got my sister-in-law going to take notes for me.

Elvis at Lupo's

Discarded, Yeah, Pogo Boy has sideburns and glasses and endless energy. At the Bard concert he sat very quietly...is really wasn't the place for springing up and down. Sounds like we were all probably within a few people of each other. I left deaf in one ear from the speaker and hoarse. But it was w...

Elvis at Lupo's

I went to the 10pm show and it was just incredible. I had tickets to the Boston one for the 12th, but gave those up when I got closer seats in New Hampshire...which was later cancelled. Lupo's was small and I was lucky enough to be 5 ft from the stage positioned between EC and Steve. I heard that at...
