36. ELVIS COSTELLO - Crossed Phone Lines

This is an interesting disc I picked up at a library sale. It didn't have any art with it, but after a little research, it seems that this was included with a book of the same name. Each track is a short informative interview with that band or artist. What really makes this enjoyable are some of the early interviews with bands like REM or U2 who have no idea what the future holds for them.

The great George Gimarc, well known in Dallas radio history. There are some that credit him with creating the first "classic rock" format on the air.
