If it's any consolation, it would be very very hard in Boston, too, while being in an inferior city (imo; go ahead, let the hate mail flow) with a lower wage scale. But I'm sorry to hear, MBA.miss buenos aires wrote:Would any of our non-New Yorkers believe how hard it is to find a decent two-bedroom for $1800?

If that's what I think it is, my son and I are addicted to it-- we play it on the Cartoon Network site (yes the same, just checked, it's a spinoff from Codename: Kids Next Door). Totally cracks us up. The music and sounds are perfect. Hint: it's easier to hit the hamsters as they're falling rather than when they're jumping.

See, I like these games where doing well is secondary.
In other random thoughts, would someone please tell me what has changed in my household routine (I've wracked my brain and can't figure) that has led to my dog waking me up in the middle of the night because she has to poo? All week I've been up between 2 & 4:30. It's doing me in.

She's using it as a control mechanism. You have to reinforce your status as Alpha Female and force her to hold it in.Mechanical Grace wrote:In other random thoughts, would someone please tell me what has changed in my household routine (I've wracked my brain and can't figure) that has led to my dog waking me up in the middle of the night because she has to poo? It's easy for me to joke about it, as our boy seems to be able to go for ever without number ones or twos and would never wake us in the night for it nor do it on the kitchen floor before we get down, as my mums dogs all used to do. Maybe Labs are good that way. Not sure.

There seem to be a lot of beautiful 25 year old girls who are bored tonight who have got my picture from that website. They also want to meet me. Some of them want to send me pictures of themselves.
I bet you are all jealous
In totally unrelated emails, a lot of people are selling cheap Viagra.

Anybody watch Psych? I'm not much of a fan but the episode Friday night sucked me in: Tim Curry as the Simon character in an AI clone called American Duos. I've never seen more than the 3 minute spillover right before House, but I think they caught the spirit dead on. Several LOL moments, including probably the first ever Tears for Fears/Michael Jackson dual impersonation.

So, I'm scouring the internet for Tim Armstrong pictures and what do I discover? I have a tribute band!
