Mark Radcliffe played Buffalo Stance on Radio 2 here this evening (as part of The Chain, an endless chain of somehow linked songs, this time the link was with a Buffalo Springfield song). Hadn't heard it in years. Used to love it and play it to death in the car. Still sounds great.
There's more to life than books, you know, but not much more

I haven't tooted the Cosmosis horn in quite some time. But the interview segment has been revived for today's show, so here I go.........
Today's featured artist and interview subject will be Joe Pisapia. He's a brilliant singer/songwriter on the pop side (he's a fan of Nick Lowe....that was for you, Moody!) from Jersey who relocated to Nashville in the 90s. He fronted a band called Joe, Marc's Brother.....recorded a solo album (which stayed in a pop vein, occasionally drifting into "Americana").....and was in a project called Watercolor that is reminiscent of Getz/Gilberto. A few years ago, he joined the band Guster.
It was a really fun interview! It will air live at 3 pm central today on 98.9 FM in the Nashville area and on the net at www.radiofreenashville.org. If you can't catch it live, it will be in the "Listen" section of www.radiocosmosis.com.
