Isn't laughingcrow Scottish? Are there any Scottish celebrities besides that James Bond fellow with the eyebrows?

Belle & Sebastian are becoming a-list celebrities, and they're from Scotland. There are others!

I would consider an A-list celebrity to be someone that I would recognize on the street, and even though I have all of B&S's albums, I don't think I'd recognize any of them on the street. Plus, Stuart David and Isobel Campbell just left the band.

Okay, but I think we'd all recognize Sean Connery on the street

While I am honered that I made the possibilities I am not notable yet . I do want to be a writer and I am hard at work on a screenplay, but isn't that a typical story. When I hit the big time I will invite you all to walk down the red carpet, but wear your best duds because Joan can be relentless.

Hello? The Bay City Rollers?
Seriously, I think I'd recognize the Proclaimers on the street.
And Ewan McGregor

Well, I'll vote for verbal. Just a hunch.
And by the way, I'm really Diana Krall.

No offense, but I've seen the A-List and Diana isn't on it

I'm voting for Ice Nine, just because he said the words..."I'm writing a screenplay" that is A-List speak for I'm between movie deals...
Oh, and I'm Madonna...
She's still on the A-List, right?--I mean, I'M still on the A-List...right?
Where are the strong?

C'mon Madge, fess up (in the Colonies that means "confess"), because you're not fooling anybody.

I figured if I stayed away from this thread, I'd appear more like an A-List celebrity. Because, we all know a real A-lister would stay far away.
So, not posting would be "proof" that I was an A-lister and/or EC in clever disguise of an EC fan.
It seems to have worked....But I just blew it, didn't I? Darn.

There are many more famous Scotsmen than me... Wee Jimmy Crankie, Billy Connolly, Rod Stewart...but hey, if it's a D-list celebrity you're wanting...then I guess Im more of a D-list celebrity hanger-onner. Sponging off them for free cokes and rides in their brand new VW.

Wow - I'm flattered just to be nominated. Especially amongst such esteemed company. And I've got two votes!
I'd like to thank my agent, my ma and pa, Jake Riviera, Bruce Thomas and especially Diana (or Spooky as you might know her) etc etc.
Cheers

Scotty from Star Trek isn't an actual Scot. He's actually born in Vancouver and grew up in Sarnia, Ontario. Much like the Chekov character wasn't actually Russian, but born and raised in Chicago.
