Elvis Costello And The Attractions
JFK Stadium
Philadelphia, PA
August 21, 1982
Elvis Costello - vocals, guitar
The Attractions:
Steve Nieve - keyboards
Bruce Thomas - bass
Pete Thomas - drums
This entire concert was videotaped by "rockcat57" and subsequently posted on YouTube on September 12, 2010
by "AbandonWords". I decided compile the clips and author a DVD for all to enjoy. The video quality is acceptable
at best; the audio a bit better. The headlining act was Genesis. Also on the bill were Blondie, A Flock Of Seagulls
and Robert Hazard and the Heroes.

Thanks. Same venue as Live Aid. Genesis headlining! Lots of songs running one into the other, I guess he did it quite a lot back then. Some amazing Bruce Thomas moments on Green Shirt. The band sound typically on fire. Elvis affects this curious swing back and forth of his guitar neck on a few occasions, which is not something I recall seeing in the past - with the distant camera image it makes him look a bit like Hank Marvin. he was still a Londoner back then accent-wise, I note.

Thanks doc. Someone claimed they would eventually digitize this. Doc seems to be willing and capable if sources are provided. I have a vhs to DVD standalone also but my authoring software is not as polished as tmpgenc.
