FREE -- 2 tickets to Boston show -- no strings attached

Post by discarded luck »

Hi Everyone,

I’d like to offer my two tickets to the Wang show on Friday night.
I wasn’t able to sell them and it would truly kill me to have them
go to waste. So--- anyone who can make the show is welcome
to them. The only stipulation is that I need to know soon because
my husband and I are going out of town on Thursday night and
would need to get the tickets to you before then. I’m north of
Boston and would be willing to meet whomever, wherever….
(or I can priority mail them if you want to take a chance.)

They’re decent tickets, orchestra, left center. Any takers?......

If there's no one on the board who wants these tickets maybe
one of you knows of another site where they might be taken.
It's bad enough that I can't go but to actually have no one
use these seats makes me want to cry. Any suggestions??

discarded luck, if I were in the Boston area I'd totally take you up on the offer.

The problem is, while we have several people on the board in Boston, most of them are hardcore fans and therefore will have bought their tickets wayyy in advance. Have you tried ebay? I guess at this point you don't have much time left to get rid of them.
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

You could also try posting them on Craigslist:

http://boston.craigslist.org/

Someone is bound to take you up on that offer . . .

Thanks BC, I've listed the tickets on 2 sale sites (2 weeks ago) as well as this board but with no results. If I could I'd send someone down to the Wang to give them away but I none of my friends are willing to do that.

I had noticed that one Bostonian in particular had not mentioned that he was going. It would have been nice ifI could have turned out be someone's "angel". How often do we get a chance to do that.

Still, the offer stands. If anyone even thinks they can get rid of the tickets please post here or PM me. I'll be keeping a rather close eye on the site.

if you just want someone to use your tickets, i'm pretty well positive i could find someone, even if it's giving them away at the site before the show.

heck, i'm taking a friend (a non-EC fanatic friend) 'cause i keep insisting on buying two tickets when i'm just one person. i keep hoping i will find an EC pal around here, i had one, but she MOVED. silly person. such bad timing to move, a month before EC shows up.

but hey, i can disburse tickets. my officemate would probably love to go.

drop me a pm, i'll check back.

Sorry you can't make the show, DC. It's a disappointment, but, looking at the big picture, it's only a concert.

So, wehitandrun, did you get the tickets? The suspense is killing me. I nearly was tempted to max out my plastic and jump on a plane.
