Typical impetuous Spaniard who was obsessed for a week and then disapppeared. Funny though, that he never reported back on Elvis in Granada, which he was going to. I was keen to know more about that. Will We Hit And Run have more staying power, or will he follow suit?BlueChair wrote:I wonder whatever happened to King Of Spain?

I've stayed out of the whole Diana Krall debate at this point, because quite honestly I'd not really heard any of her stuff except for a few clips here and there.
Based solely on her performance on Letterman tonight.....I'd have to go with a resounding "eh". Not really all that bad, but nothing spectacular either. She kinda sounded like what you'd hear in any typical jazz club. So yeah - there's my two cents worth.
And to answer the questions for those who didn't watch: No breast exposure, no sighting of The Man, and no mention of how she smells

I dig her stuff sometimes. I listen to and play so much music that is a bit loud and sometimes it is relaxing to listen to that type of music. I actually have a cd I made for long drives home after work that is filled with Sinatra type stuff. I know that probably belongs on the guilty pleasures thread but I like it anyway.

I thoroughly enjoyed her performance on Letterman tonight. The material was fresh and the band clearly plays to her lead. She had a command over the performance.
I like "Live in Paris", but I had not intended to purchase the new release. After tonight, I probably will.
Nothing to do with Elvis, gender, cuter sister, attire. A good clean sound and music that I respect
