Head Automatica - Decadence (album of the decade)

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Head Automatica - Decadence (album of the decade)

Post by wehitandrun »

You can now purchase the debut Head Automatica album "Decadence" from ITunes (99 cents a track, 9.99 for all 11).

If you have not heard Head Automatica- you can listen to five tracks on their website (streaming):

Head Automatica features Daryl Palumbo (of Glassjaw fame) and Dan The Automator, along with a list of underground men of assorted, worshipped bands.

I just listened to the first few tracks of this record.

I have an honest question. The third song on the record Beating Heart, sounds alot like Ted Leo, is there any relation? This is a great record so far.

I love "Beating Heart Baby"- I'm sure Daryl is heavily influence by him.

Daryl's heroes range from the Elvis/Glenn Tilbrook crowd to the Mike Patton and underground hip hop crowd. He is the modern day Costello, and is stretching the boundaries of modern music.

He is doing his own thing, and doing it brilliantly. The only true, original musician around.
