Mrs Doofster likes PTC, but her favourite EC album by some way is 'King of America' - esp American without Tears, Sleep of the Just and Brilliant Mistake.
Can your partner tolerate any Elvis or do they just turn the volume contols down?

Love the disclaimer! You knew I'd be frothing at the mouth without it. Don't worry, BWAP, I know you know what the real tracklisting was.Boy With A Problem wrote:(we're American and Detectives, like Radio Radio on the next one will forever be part of the album for me).
are we married to the same person, OS?Blue Hawaii.
No, but he did go to the lobby for several very tall beers during the show. And he did turn around to the people near us and start spreading the rumor that he thought John Prine was in the building.mood swung wrote:In spite of my fears, he did NOT hold a lighter up and holler FREE BIRD at the last show with the Brodskys.
I can pretty much ditto all of the above there, Mood Swung. We actually started off our relationship with a mutual love of EC.....but after IB, he pretty much started to lose interest. He hung around during PTC, but since then it's pretty much been all me.mood swung wrote: My darling codger of a husband of 22 years (I think I must be the board record holder here - and I was a child bride, mind you) and I agree to disagree on Elvis...... He does willingly accompany me to the shows, but will usually make me want to kick him at least once during the evening.
