Save CBGB!!!
"Did you ever think there's far too many people in the world"?
I signed a petition in person when I stopped by CBGBs during my recent trip to NYC. It would be a damn shame for a club like that to be forced to shut its doors.. even if it books shit bands nowadays.
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

That's the problem - it's a hole and nobody good plays there anymore. Make it a historic landmark and turn it into a museum of the early days of punk or something like that.
By the way, The Bottom Line, a legendary folk club near NYU, closed its doors a few years ago and it hardly registered on the news. Stuff is going up and being torn down all the time in New York. It's very very temporary.
