"Abandoned Masquerade"

Post by evon1957 »

Please forgive if this has been posted before, but I have really become a fan of Diana Krall (for the past year), and love her voice and the music she and her husband make for all of us music lovers. I am 74 and have been singing all my life. I am currently working on a homemade CD I'm calling "Jazzy Me." Can you please tell me if there will be a karaoke version of this song? Any information you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Meanwhile, I continue to watch the videos of Diana and Elvis, and pictures of their beautiful children. I, myself, have five grown children, twelve grands and just recently have my tenth great grandchild. Thank you, a musical admirer in Oklahoma, Lurene Cornelius.

Who needs Google ? All you need to know about this song is here:

There appears to be an instrumental version of the song recorded by a string quartet here:

Whether this would serve as a "karaoke" version, I leave to you to decide.

Hi Lurene - good luck with the CD! I seriously doubt there's a karaoke version, as they tend to be recorded for very famous songs. But good luck on your hunt.
