Man out of Time wrote:The "illness of close family member" story was used to explain the cancellations of a week's worth of US dates in the middle last month was it not? It could be true, but hard to see how it has an effect so predictable as to affect a single date five weeks hence...

MOOT
Unless there's an operation or something scheduled around that time which could mean the dates up until 15th are safe for now.

Finger on the pulse from our medical correspondent, Mr "Elastoplast" Gymnastics - joking apart, that's a very valid point but I haven't been rude for a few weeks to VG - and how come you've got time to browse the internet - you should be setting up your European venture !

More to the point, how is it that you are surfing the Internet when you gave the Revolver Compendium and Elvis sings The Beatles projects to complete?

If bad ticket sales did indeed contribute to the cancellation, and if by any chance Elvis or anyone from his management reads this board from time to time, then I say this :
Please, PLEASE, PLEASE reschedule the show as soon as possible, but consider changing the venue as this would possibly make tickets cost less than the steep 80 GBP demanded for best seats for the cancelled Warsaw show.
I do hope to see Elvis in Poland some time next year.

Wow - £80 for a solo show is pretty expensive.

Perhaps you get a copy of the super deluxe Revolver tour cd/DVD set included in the ticket price.

And then you find you can't play the DVD because it's the wrong region. So you sell it on eBay and get your ticket money back.

Everyone's a winner

Wow! I am starting to dream of all the goodies we will receive at the Malmö show. I mean the price 110 GBP must guarantee at least a promo postcard as well :-)

The 3 postcard deluxe set.

The single promo postcard is for those in the cheap seats

I thought the £54 I paid for the Amsterdam ticket was expensive for a solo show but £80 to £110?

He's making money on this tour to keep Songbook show ticket prices cheap for touring Europe in 2012.

This recession ain't gonna get better for quite some time...

VG- kindly remind me yet again whom the 'rapacious Lupine' represents on the recent album cover?
