Not really. If I think of him doing an EC song, I gravitate more to his latest incarnation in his career and his tackling something like "You Hung the Moon" or "Jimmy Standing in the Rain" in the mode of material he presented on "Band of Joy". But that is just my inner ear contemplating a cover by him of the material-he is not a natural choice for my ears. Not sure if Jim James's voice is low enough for it. He has a high voice. I've always thought this song to be criminally underrated. One of my favorites.

Just remembered that "I'm In The Mood Again" is eminently coverable by any number of crooners and songstrels. I can imagine Beyonce doing it as a slowie!
