Good that it was a full 2 hours. Shame he didn't play Man Out of Time at Westport. Interesting that Pete has the perspex sound separators up there when he didn't in Westport nor Glasto. Hope next time he plays up the road from me I'm around to see him!

Went to see him play at Thetford forest last night , great night, he wasn't that good at Glastonbury from what they showed on tv so was a pleasant surprise. Last saw him in 1980 . Chatting to the security guys whilst waiting for our cab , only 1400 people for Elvis , 7000 for Paul Weller but over 10,000 for the Script , guy said it was mental, bras chucked all over the stage .
If you've never been to see someone there try it out , had a lovely afternoon and evening.

I must admit, i did think this was a surprise booking to headline a show like this. He's good on big stages where he's part of the bill eg Glastonbury, Hyde Park but he's not going to sell tickets at shows like this in the middle of nowhere.

That never detracts from the quality of the show though.

Who's calling one of East Anglia's finest and most celebrated woodland areas 'the middle of nowhere'? (Apart from you.)

I managed to get hold of Elvis' set list thank to Pete Thomas but it differs from what was actually played :?

We'll have to take your word for it! No reports of the actual setlist yet.

I was enjoying myself too much to make a note of the songs played but EC did NOT play the following:

Accidents Will Happen
Hope You're Happy Now
Turpentine
Song With Rose
Cry Cry Cry
Bedlam
Monkey To Man
Suit Of Lights
Stella Hurt

In addition to the other songs on the setlist he played:

Blame It On Cain
Uncomplicated
Tramp The Dirt Down( last song )

So,28 songs I reckon, all knocked off in just under 2 hours.Awesome.I don't care if there were 1400 or 14000 punters in attendance.EC didn't appear to be dispirited either.

I'd agree with that.

I can't recall any other songs being played other than those you've mentioned. But I wasn't taking notes :D

I think this is the first time I can recall anyone posting an "Anti-Setlist" - songs Elvis did not play. I usually restrict myself to noting down the ones he plays in the order he plays them. Simple but effective. Clearly I need to step up on the next tour and throw in some songs that weren't played too.

I think Pars was merely highlighting the songs that are on the setlist and were not played.

That's good to hear. Friends said it felt pretty empty, but 1,400 is still a decent number of folks to play to.
