I would, but I am already taking the following Friday off to go see U2 with my wife in New York (it's her birthday).

Dang it, man, that is some serious fuckin' tragedy. Any annoying relatives I can bump off to secure you a bereavement day?

Come ON! You gotta find a way to swing it...

Nah, can't do it. If the Sox make it further into the playoffs, maybe I'll get another chance.

You're right. Could be a funereal atmosphere at Fenway on Friday.

Too bad about your Red Sox, mug. Now I don't feel so bad about missing the game. They just didn't have the mojo this year. On the positive side, it looks like the Yanks don't have it either.

Angels are a good ball club. Thier manager knows how to optimize them. He is in league with the big boys, and will get stronger as a manager. Still, winning a five game series against the Yankee's is a hell of a challenge, and it is far from over.

His motivation to his team after a killer performance last night (nearly 20 hits) was "we are going to need to step it up a notch if we are going to beat the Yankee's!"

I have a lot of respect for his ability to baby step his way to victory, within a game,a nd within a season. One run at a time.

Was I right, or was I right? They've already begun the blame game here in New York - with A-Rod singled out as the main culprit.

Mr. A's Angels didn't have God on their side. They'll be "baby stepping" their way across the golf courses of Southern California as the White Sox go to the World Series for the first time since 1959. If they win, it will be their first championship since 1917.

Congrats to the ChiSox. Wouldn't it be something if the Cubs were to win it next season?

I know it may seem a bit early - there's still snow on the ground - but I wanted to get an early start on gauging interest in fantasy baeball this year. I'm sure that most of last year's participants will be back again this season. Any others interested? Please feel free to invite friends and family as well.
