Yeah, Landycakes' best performance ever in a national team shirt? Now I'd like to see him do that when it counts.

and it was a really really ugly national team shirt. did you watch the game? I'd say take that 'interim' word needs to go, but then again he's won his first 3 games with it. I had not seen Feilhaber play before, and Michael Bradley's grown up a lot - I think they'll be good additions. I hope Mostest does better tomorrow.

Yeah, Feilhaber is a nice addition. The team seems to be playing better under Bradley (maybe they had Bruce burn out?), but they haven't really tested themselves away from home yet.

Otis (O-tuhs) n. 1. common type of American-made elevator. 2. loveable town drunk featured in The Andy Griffith Show. 3. Englishter for arrogant jackass.

p.s. Girls only play half court basketball over here in Amerikuh. At least that's all we had when I was in school and it seems like things really haven't changed that much, the world over.

Nope...not in Great Britain. My 2 girls both play association football, tennis, tag rugby and netball. The youngest also whips my ass at Tae Kwon Do. Of course, evidence suggests that most girls give up organised sports by the age of 18. Shame.

Good news for the guy who wrote the article - I hear Lampard is injured and won't play today.

They'll dominate mighty Andorra and it will all be down to Frank not playing!

Oh I see! I assumed you were discussing one oof those American sports.

Frankyboy is suffering from a bad case of Fear of Not Even Being Able to Do Anything in an England Shirt Against a National Team as Dismissable as Andorra, poor lad.

Away goal at least. Scholes is a loon.

Or Totti knew exactly what he was going to do when he headed towards Scholes.
At least Perrotta is out of the next game too.

1-0 - we can do it! Chelsea's mountain is higher. Liverpool deliver again in Europe!

How do you figure? Sure, Valencia have an away goal but I thought we acquitted ourselves well this evening and could easily have won it. We have it all to play for at 1-1. Hopefully Essien will be back by then to give us a little more impetus in midfield.

Scholes' atrocious tackling finally comes back to bite him in the ass. He's a serial offender in the PL but gets away with it because of lenient referees. No such luck in Europe. What a knucklehead. Neither foul was necessary.

What kind of ManU fan takes joy in Liverpool's triumph? :?:

Have to agree with this. I'm a fan of aspects of his game, but his tackling is and has always been suspect. Being at Man Utd has saved him countless cards over the years.
