For a couple of years Mut have been best team in Britain.
They were lucky to 'win' Ch. League in 1999 and 2008.
Only thing wrong with Wednesday Rome final - despite bright Mut start/their erroneously wearing white - was that they were beaten by the wrong team.
This year as last I thought pre-season that Liver would win League.
I am a football/Chels supporter since 1964, and seem to remember that whenever Chels have top 'top division' scorer that they win nothing else.
I do not mind at all if Ever win at Wembley on Saturday, as we have won thing 3 times since Ever last did in 1994.
I do mind that Scandinavian Ovrebo cheated in revenge for 1066 Stamford Bridge.
Viva footskie.
Although Mut are often a great side a lot of their supporters seem to forget that they already have won 4 things this season, whereas Barca only 3.
Commiserations to all whose sides lost/were relegated (e.g. twat Webb costing Newcie goal in last home game ...).
I wonder who is Eon Cup Final ref.
(Wednesday guy in Rome did not put a peep wrong).
I am sure that DPAM would re-settle in England if Liver won league.
Come on the yellows!

No silver linings despite Saha's 25 second cracker. Revolting John Terry, how it pains me to see him win anything.

No soup for you, Otis!! Hahahaha!!!
What if Terry captained England to victory in the World Cup? Would you still be "revolted"?

Police are investigating a burglary at Lionel Messi's house last Wednesday. They are trying to establish the whereabouts of the Man Utd midfield between 7:45 and 9:30.

I would be pained to have such a painful moment marred by his revolting mug. It will never happen again, or at least before he retires, so let's not worry, but if it did, the ecstasy would outweigh this inconvenience.

This is the #4 most viewed story on CNN.com right now. Phil Spector's mugshot is #1. #3 is the serial cat killer. I love America.

But I thought he was really happy at Man U. I mean, he pledged his future there. And he must have fooled Sir Alex because Sir Alex got fed up of answering the silly question
Hands up who is surprised by this news...

Good point. Always knew that one would come to an end. I'm relieved, it means I won't miss out on fantasy points due to an excess of blind faith. This one is more permanent...

nice balls, too.
I have had no tv (or internet!!) since a super bad thunderstorm last week, and yesterday was the first day I actually missed them.

but he looks like Superman in the photo!
and it's hard to distinguish individual stench amongst the whole team, but, I do agree - he has not had a good nats year at all. And that assclown Rossi went home, so all is good in the CC for me. Looking forward to seeing the kids in the Gold Cup. Anything to avoid watching the dysfunction that is NYRB this year.

It has been a rough year, to be sure. Sat in the rain on Saturday for our draw with Seattle. Almost got pepper sprayed in New England at the away game when their rent-a-cops got a little overzealous.

What is that quote from Conan the Barbarian? Something about crushing your enemies, blah blah blah, hearing the lamentations of their women, etc?
j/k.
But, Jesus. H. Christ, who saw that coming? I had to text my kids so I could woo hoo with somebody!

Fuck Becks and the horse he rode in on.
Red Bulls are 2-14-3 this season. On course for a truly historic season, in all the wrong ways. FML

Amen to that. And, no, the underwear ads don't even begin to make up for it. Were you there throwing monopoly money at him?
I've decided it's the jerseys. Ugly is a curse. Is that a zipper at the neck?
Eskandarian - not wearing the headgear, scoring one hellacious goal. I still hate him.

No I didn't get that close to His Majesty. The ESC in 101 were throwing wads of fake cash at him.

Jeez Louise, when did he get so thin-skinned? All the abuse heaped on him over the years, and he loses his shit here, in the bush leagues.
This year's Red Bulls have karma soooo bad, they're even screwing with the Nats. cinco a cero? CINCO a cero? I'm thinking somebody stole Jobu's rum.

Yeah when I saw the score I immediately thought of the Red Bulls' bad mojo.
I have a fire Osorio/Agoos Facebook group started if anyone would care to join.
