But there's one song on the Atlanta NRP cast where he sings in sweet, pure falsetto. Can't remember which, but quite angelic. One of the Edinburgh reviewers commented on the range of his voice live.

The way his voice changes from falsetto to groan is great, like on Dirt In The Ground where he goes from wistful wheezy falsetto to a sobering kind of clearing of the throat and senses.
