Real words in disguise

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Real words in disguise

Post by LessThanZero »

Ironical.

It's another way of saying ironic. It just sounds phoney. Isn't that a little....

Sometimes its hard to tell if its real or not, cause I have a tendency to make up words a lot. Gesticular?

Its pretty easy to make up real sounding words by accident, especially when youre playing one of those games where you try to name every word you can think of that ends with -nation or something like that . . . Ever been really, really bored?

Sorry, that should probably be words ending in -ation rather than -nation.

proliferation, reiteration, mastication, flagellation . . . I should probably stop while I still have my sanity. More or less.

Headline I spotted in my local paper's health news column yesterday:

"Seizure disorders need not hamper a person's SUCCESSFULNESS"
It's a radiation vibe I'm groovin' on

my favorite non-word...reclusivity...the act of being reclusive... :D
A lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. Do you think when Jesus comes back he ever wants to see a fuckin' cross? It's kind of like going up to Jackie Onassis with a rifle pendant on.
