Results: Brutal Youth ranked

Here are the votes of the cruel international jury*:

1. Sulky Girl
2. All The Rage
3. You Tripped At Every Step
4. Kinder Murder
5. Clown Strike
6. 13 Steps Lead Down
7. Rocking Horse Road
8. Pony St
9. London's Brilliant Parade
10. This Is Hell
11. Just About Glad
12. Favourite Hour
13. Still Too Soon To Know
14. 20% Amnesia
15. My Science Fiction Twin

All The Rage got 5 #1's, but every song had at least one except My Science Fiction Twin and, strangely enough, Clown Strike.

*: King Hoarse, alexv, wardo68, And No Coffee Table, Ringhio Starr, manoutoftime, Chrille, Extreme Honey, Bassface 127, Emotional Toothpaste, Miss Macbeth, Blue Chair, John, Branst, Jackson Monk, invisible Pole stranger in the house, El Vez, pip_52, bambooneedle, oily slick, libster, legman apparently still open to offers, Who Shot Sam?, mood swung, Fishfinger king, Masterpiece?, Von Ofterdingen, and So Lacklustre. And then a little later, Meg JS, noiseradio and randrew.

20% is offly low but other than that the results are pretty agreeable, partly because all the tracks are nearly tied IMO. Good job.

Because of the bridge only in 20% Amnesia it ought to rank higher I think. And i still don't get the disliking of "This is Hell" :?

I think it's a matter of degrees of like more than like/dislike. I don't hate any of the songs, but if they have to be ranked, something's got to be at the bottom...

I do wish Clown Strike and RHR landed a little higher, though. ;)

And Whyyyy so low for this one? I love this song - it was one of the highlights of EC's last show at the Beacon.

KH, can you please recount votes for London's Brilliant Parade ?
I can't believe it's only ranked 8.

I ranked it as no. 15. Too "sweet" - IMO it's Brutal Youth's version of the timid "Satellite" on Spike.

Although I have indeed recounted now that solack is in the game, and there has been much twiddling about (Sulky Girl, Favourite Hour and This Is Hell up a notch each - yay!), the Parade is steady at #8, albeit mildly threatened by Pony St, just 3 'points' behind.

Feel free to add to the drama, non-rankers!

And now it's #9. :( And Favourite Hour is #12

But thanks, laterankers, for putting Sulky Girl in its proper place!

Sorry I didn't see this earlier. Didn't mean to skew the results.
