Seasons Greetings 2009

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Seasons Greetings 2009

Post by Jack of All Parades »

Want to take a holiday sabbatical away from the blue screen and spend time with family and friends over the coming weeks. Also, I would like to summit a literary K2, Against the Day, having established a secure base camp at page 352. With this in mind I offer sincere Seasons Greetings to all board members and their families and a wish for a healthy, prosperous New Year filled with good books, music and films and better times for all. I offer a full Wassail toast to you:

"Some say that ever 'gainst that season comes
Wherein our saviour's birth is celebrated
The bird of dawning singeth all night long;
And then, they say, no spirit can walk abroad,
The nights are wholesome; then no planets strike,
No fairy takes, nor witch hath power to charm,
So hallowed and so gracious is the time."

Shakespeare "Hamlet"
"....there's a merry song that starts in 'I' and ends in 'You', as many famous pop songs do....'

Good luck. Wish I was on that climb too, but there's no way I'll get through it, and as I'm away for Christmas, flying, it can't come with me. Inherent Vice, maybe. Happy Christmas!
