Does anyone else think this ?

That the demo version of Living In Paradise is a great song and that the album version on TYM is possibly the worst song on the album.

Well well well... I like the album version, although I admit it's not one of the best songs. I never heard the demo. Where can I find it?

I much prefer the final This Year's Model version to the My Aim is True cut, mostly because the latter suffers from a lack of Attractions

You can find it on MAIT or just download off the internet although I don't condone it.

This song needs Bruce Thomas's bassline. Another vote for the TYM version.

"Living in Paradise" has always been one of my favorite tracks on TYM--I put it on mix CD's all the time. What about it would cause one to rate it as TYM's worst song?

That constant up down little melody that sounds like it's from Tetris and that god forsaken starting part of lyrics. I much rather prefer the "Everyday I see a rich man in a poor man's disguise, whose counting on the future while the past plays on his mind."

It's really 2 different songs with the same chorus.

The demo is so MAIT with the pedal steel and all.
The TYM version is pure second album production, self confident word play, snarling vocal and driving Attractions backing..

My vote goes to the second.
