With this and Chicago, do I see a little solo tour beginning to sprout?

I note also that the Monterey Jazz Festival is running from 21-23 September this year and features Bill Frisell and Tony Bennett amongst others. What chance EC turning up there too?

Any chance he'll get into the studio one of these days? He's not turning into a nostalgia act, is he?

Fueled by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Elvis Costello, singer-songwriter Emmylou Harris and classic rock staple Styx, Cascade Theatre ticket sales broke a single-day record Tuesday.
"We passed our previous sales record by over $20,000," said Jeff Darling, the Cascade's general manager.
The box office sold 1,000 tickets Tuesday — the same day the historic downtown Redding venue announced to members via email and Facebook the 2012-13 season.
Costello, Harris and Styx were top sellers, generating a combined 293 sales Tuesday.
Costello's Sept. 24 show will be his first in Redding, while Darling is almost certain that Harris will make her Redding debut Oct. 4. Styx plays Sept. 11.

Who's going?
Re: Elvis plays Redding, CA Sept. 24 '12
It's cold and pissing down in London so I think we should all club together and charter a jet. Failing that, I'm looking forward to reports from tonight's gig - enjoy!

I'll attempt to compile an accurate setlist.
But I'm not a laptop-on-the-road kinda guy, so I doubt I'll be the first to report.
I won't be back home until Thursday, so unless the hotel has a computer for guests, I won't be able to do anything until then.

I was very disappointed when I read this thread after the title and discovered Elvis didn't cover Mr. Pitiful or Respect.

Thanks to the good Dr. Hope it was a cracking gig, he can really shine solo and be generally breathtaking. Did he give much banter?
From afar the set list not quite as adventurous as I'd imagined for first of much heralded Centenary shows but I think that feels very different if you're actually there.
Thanks again for getting on the hotel internet so quick!

In Another Room as a finisher? What a downbeat ending....no wonder he was running for the bus!

I've been trying to find the relevant 30 ROCK clip, but it doesn't appear to be on YouTube.
